How It Began
I’ve always liked the idea of being able to make and build the things I use every day. I’m curious about their inner workings and I want to have a hand in the entire process. When I came across my own need for a denim jacket that was durable and fit well, I turned half of my painting studio into a small denim factory. Over time, I designed and modified a garment to look, fit and feel right for as many people as possible. My reclusive tendencies lend to the long, painstaking process of perfecting a product. Ten years after taking apart my first pair of jeans and wondering what it would take to make them, I’m proud to introduce this Chore Coat; the first official garment from the Max Decker Company.
